Misst20. Knowlton Brothers, Northampton, Mass. Hail Stones, of the great storm of June 20, 1870, at Northampton, Mass. where they were found the largest of any place on the line of the Storm. Hail Stones were common which measured from 9 to 12 inches in circumference, and one measured 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches thick. This group represents only the average size, the largest on measuring when taken from the ground 9 1/8 inches in circumference. Bottom left corner crease. G. $20
